Extras in 2027: two groups, same fun
Extras is growing next year, and we want it to stay exactly what it is: extra time with the ball, good coaching and plenty of fun.
Two groups
From Term 1 2027 (starting Monday 1 February) there will be a 5–7 group and an 8–10 group. The groups are there so the games and the space suit the kids playing them. They aren't levels, and nobody is moving "up".
Every child works on their own next step at their own pace. We only ever compare a child with where they started, never with anyone else.

- Games, not drills in lines

- Small groups, so every child gets plenty of touches
